Lore
Carinval Reverie is a blend of music that combines instruments from various world locations.
Spanning multiple genres, the compositions reflect both the wanderlust of travel and the dreamlike reflections of distant places.
Math
Our music leverages the beautiful relationship between math and music, showcasing the dance of numbers, patterns, and structure.

Recursion
Recursion is a process in which a function or procedure calls itself, creating a loop of repeated or nested operations. In several tracks, melodies and instruments are created and called with the Fibonacci Sequence.

Shepard Tones
Shepard tones are an auditory illusion where a series of overlapping pitches seem to ascend or descend infinitely without ever reaching a perceptual endpoint. Just as Zeno's paradox suggests motion is impossible because one always covers half the remaining distance, Shepard tones create the illusion of infinite ascent or descent without ever reaching a conclusive destination.
Zeno's Trip
Differential Evolution
Differential evolution algorithms use iterative optimization techniques to generate music by evolving and optimizing musical parameters over successive generations. Unlike current A.I generative models, this approach does not learn from other producer's work, but rather is an extention of our creativity.

Tesselation in Sound
Tessellation art intricately arranges repeated shapes without gaps or overlaps, playing with positive and negative space. We've applied this by accompanying a symmetrical presence and absence of baseline, from which a new melody emerges.

Crab Canons
A Crab canon in music is a demonstration of symmetry, where one line is played forward while its counterpart is played in reverse, creating a musical palindrome.

Spectral Density & Waveform
Low temporal variation, legato notes, and sustained reverb were used to test this song's ability to improve focus. We tested this hypothesis with a group at the University of California, Berkeley and Saharan Resonance substantially outperformed atmospheric noise.
